from multiple tests we have found out that the water is clear yet slightly polluted but sustainable due to the surrounding roads near the area, the type of insects we found their were tolerant to the water and not a lot of sensitive insects were found but there was some proving it is relatively clean bu not 100%. the salinity of the wetland is around half the salinity (saltiness) of the ocean. some equipment we use to test this stuff were measuring tubes, thermometers chemicals and a salinity measurer.
The Salinity Meter. detects the amount of salt in water.
put the nozzle in water then record the data per tho
Thermometer. reads the temperature of air and water
hold thermometer in air or water for approximately o1 or 2 minutes then read the temperature e.g. 30c.
Turbidity Meter. verifies the murkiness of the water
pour water sample into tube and see if you can see the lines. keep pouring until you can't see the lines. then read the numbers on the side and record the data E.G. 20 NTU
Barium Sulfate & Universal Indicator, sees if the soil is more acidic or alkaline.
put a tiny bit of soil onto a petri dish, then sprinkle a small amount of Barium Sulfate onto the soil. then squeeze 3 drops of the universal indicator and wait for 30 seconds. then look at it's colour and the colour coding on the bottle to determine whether it is acidic or alkaline.

in this image i explain that the quality of water is decent, we can tell because it contains a stonefly which is very sensitive to polluted water and would die if it was.
